Getting started

Build your first site

From a one-line description to a full draft, and what to do with the questions Webese asks you along the way.

  1. 1

Describe your business in the prompt box

Plain language is fine — "a two-person furniture workshop in regional Victoria that takes commissions" is enough to start. The more you say about who you serve and what makes you different, the fewer questions Webese has to ask you afterwards.

  2. 2

Answer the questions Webese asks back

Webese only asks about things it genuinely can't infer and won't invent — the email address enquiries should reach, the vibe you want, and who's behind the business for your About section. It asks at most three, and it never makes up a founder story or a contact address to fill a gap.

  3. 3

Read the first draft in Preview

You get a complete site: hero, About, your services or products, and a clear next action, with search metadata and social previews already written. Nothing is published yet — this is yours to look at.

  4. 4

Ask for changes in the chat

Keep talking to it. "Make the hero warmer", "lead with the ten-year warranty instead", "add a section about the workshop tours" — revisions keep everything you've already changed by hand, including your fonts.

Worth knowing

  • Webese writes in the language of your prompt. Describe your business in French and you get a French site, without asking for one.
  • Every draft saves automatically as you work. The indicator beside the Publish button shows Saving, then Saved — if it ever says Not saved, keep the tab open and make another edit rather than closing it.

Common questions

Do I need design or coding experience?+

No. You describe the business in plain language and edit the result by clicking on it. There's no code and no block system to learn.

Will I get the same site as everyone else?+

Webese writes the CSS for each site from scratch rather than filling in a template, and the hero layout is picked from several different treatments. Two businesses describing themselves differently get genuinely different sites.
